Tuesday night I attended a bridal shower at the church, and we did a funny game where you make a bride's dress with toilet paper. I was the mannequin, and had a fabulous 80s dress. (Picture Renee? PLease)
After the shower, some of us went over to Braum's ice cream shop for a girls night. They did this once before, a few weeks ago, but I was watching Grandma that day, so I missed it. It was fun to chat about important things such as Twilight, the upcoming New Moon movie, Jokes etc. We are just about all Twilight fanatics, and are going to the new movie, on the very first day it opens. The minute the day starts. Literally, we are going to a 12.01am showing! I've never done that before, but I figure the experience should be good. Of course we'll have to have a Twilight party before to get off to a good start.
I have also been reading a lot of books. Right now I am reading the "Children of the Earth" series, which is very interesting. Unfortunately I can't really recommend it to anyone, because of the extensive sex scenes. Why do they do that??? The story would be just as good, and I wouldn't have to pass pages and pages at a time. Hmpf.Another thing that's been keeping me busy is my upcoming garage sale. I have never held a garage sale before, and now I know why. I have spent hours and hours pricing everything. When I did research online, they all recommended pricing each individual item, so people will be more likely to buy it. If it doesn't have a price, and they have to ask, they probably just won't unless they are dying to have it. My garage is nice and clean now, and I still have several boxes to go through in Joe's shop.
Other than that, my life is pretty much uneventful. The kids go to school. I try to keep up with the laundry, shopping, and cleaning. Oh, and the new fall TV season just started again, which means So you think you can dance is on, Yippee!!

I am the same way with the hobbies thing. I think we get it from both our parents since they both like one thing to really focus on it and then do something else. For dad its work related, for mom with the hobbies like us!
A twilight party sounds fun! I have done the midnight showing a couple of times with harry potter. It is fun and definitely something you want to experience! Although now I just wait two weeks or so so the theater isn't so full.
I am not sure how I feel about fall tv season. I don't want to get sucked into all these shows and then not be productive, but I usually do anyways. My favorite is the biggest loser.
Do you like Dancing with the stars? I find that's one I really like watching. Good luck on your garage sale. I am always too afraid to have one. Too much work.

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon is SO AWESOME!!! And now is the perfect time to read it since the last book just came out. (It has been like a 15 -20 year span) It is seriously one of the best series, if not the best ever.
And The Time Traveler's Wife is one of my favorite books ever.But it has a lot of swearing too.
I've also been reading this teenager vampire series called Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. It's not the best, but it's a fun, entertaining mind- trash book and it does'nt have much sex which is great. It's not Twilight, but it is entertaining.
I'm so glad I do'nt have to watch Fall TV, I wouldn't be able to read nearly as much!

I think we have the same hobby problem. There's just so much I want to do, and not enough ability to multi-task (in my case, anyway. I'm sure you're wonderful at multi-tasking).
Now, about Twilight... nevermind, I'll get a bunch of hate-mail if I get started on that:)!
