Here in Texas, Albertsons has started a fun new game where you collect little tokens, for a chance to win a variety of prizes. I just thought I would let everyone know I am playing this game, and if you shop at Albertsons and don't want/need your tickets, I will be more than happy to take them from you. Or, if you want to trade for tickets that I need, I am willing to give you many tickets! Also, if you have 1 of the 2 rare pieces in the car categories, maybe we can both win something!

I'd hold onto some extra's until you've figured out what the rare ones are.
ReplyDeleteYou can actually win multiple times. Like if you get the $10 section twice.
I work for Bank of America inside an Albertsons and people (like my coworkers) are going nuts over this game.
We pool our tickets, it's about to a point where all of us only need one or two tickets in each spot to win something. I'd say those are the rare's.

Today I got F28 and I know it's a rare piece so anyone with F30 can spilt the prize.

ReplyDeleteI am going to be a first time mom and I need a bigger vehicle that will fit three car seats in it. My Fiance and I take care of my sister's twin four year olds..and he just lost his job..and we can't get a loan for a vehicle...so this game can really help our growing family out.

There are some pieces on Ebay but they are going for 1K and up! Of course not ones that I am interested in. But I keep going and hoping to get some good pieces!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the overall odds are of winning something but they must not be that great, especially here in Arizona where there appear to be less winners than in other states. I have earned hundreds of game tickets and the only thing I've won is a loaf of bread! Those of you who want to "trade" pieces probably misunderstand how these kinds of games work. Most of the pieces are common and, if you play enough, you will soon find that you are missing only one (rarely two) piece in each prize category. That's because each prize has a "key" piece that produces the winners. For instance, the key piece for the Town and Country van is B08. There are only 10 of these pieces in circulation. If you get a B08 then you've basically won. Why would you want to trade or team up with someone else since, in the rare instance that you're missing another "B" piece, all you have to do is keep playing to get the rest of the common pieces? One would never trade a key piece. The only situation where you might need to team up with someone is if you start playing toward the end of the game, get a key piece, and the game ends before you can get the other common pieces.

Ok, I really don't understand how this works... how do I know which pieces i need, how many I need, and what is this "game board" they keep talkin about? It says nothing about this in the "official rules"
